Get Rihanna's Look

I love Rihanna's style because it so versatile. Sometimes she wears daring outfits and on simple occasions she dresses accordingly.

This look is so simple, comfortable, affordable, and cute. This outfit contains basics that should be in most wardrobes. I'm sure most of us have these items in our closets. If not, I'll give you some places where you can pick up similar items.

A jean jacket is essential and so classic. It can be worn more casual (like Rihanna's look) or put on top of a dress. Even during chilly summer nights, a jean jacket could be useful.

In the picture I cant tell if Ri has on a white t-shirt or a tank top so i chose a tank top because it would be more cooling during these warmer months. Racerback tanks can be worn under jackets, on top of bathing suits when going to the pool or beach, as a sleeping shirt, skies the limit.

I'm not a big fan of drake. His music is a hit or miss to me, some of his songs I like and some of them I hate. This one is a hit (in my opinion lol). So many artists have already done remakes of this song and it's only been out a few weeks, that is a sign of a good song.

Health/Fitness Tip of the Week

Health:

Have a cheat day (or item) once a week. Nothing over the top but something to treat yourself, especially if you eat healthy most of the time. Even if its just one doughnut, a couple scoops of ice cream, a small slice of cake, or even a slice of pizza. Foods are only "bad" if you eat them all the time. It's okay to treat yourself to a prize once in a while.

Fitness Tip:

If you are trying to lose weight, dont weigh yourself everyday. Most of the time when you are working out you are gaining muscle as well. Its better to write down your measurements than to write down your weight. This has pissed me off lol, I hate looking at the scale and not seeing the number move when i've been busting my a** in workouts everyday. But i've realized as im dropping lbs im gaining muscle.

I'm sure most of you guys already know this. Just thought I'd share the information for those who don't.

Herbal Essences Review: The Good and the Bad

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration is one of the FEW conditioners I've re-purchased over and over. It is a Moisturizing Conditioner infused with Hawaiian Coconut & Orchid. I love it because it makes my hair feel REALLY soft and it is super affordable. This product is great no matter what texture or hair type you have. If you haven't tried this out you should give it a try. I know a lot of natural girls use this on their hair as a co-wash and I have not seen or heard of a bad complaint yet. Since it is so inexpensive it will not hurt your pockets to try it out.

Now on the other hand, I tried this shampoo from Herbal Essences Color Me Happy Shampoo For Color-Treated Hair. It is infused with Acai berries & satin. It was a total FAIL!!!!! I tried this Herbal Essence Shampoo and it dried my hair out so bad. I first bought it when i dyed my hair and i figured it would be good to help keep the color. It made my hair really stiff. This was so bad I started to use it to wash my dog, to shave my legs, and to wash my body when I ran out of body wash (lol). I would not recommend this product at all (but then again maybe I just got a bad batch...idk). The good thing is that is smells really good.

BET Awards 2011 Fashion Highlights

I saw some hits and misses (fashion-wise) while watching the 2011 BET Awards.

The host, Kevin Hart. I like how he kept it sporty and classy. He didn't wear a full on suit but he still looks nice. By the way, his suit is by Yves Saint Laurent.

Keri Hilson. I really like this look even though it is kinda "club-y" to me. Nonetheless, it is still a cute outfit.

Kelly Rowland worse a hot pink Marchesa dress. I LOVE this look on here. The pinkness looks great with her skin tone. Her performance was amazing too.

Kerry Washington looks gorgeous. The dress is Michael Kors Resort 2012 Collection

Mary J Blige's performance outfit is really cute. She took it back to the '90s with the outfit and the songs.

Big Sean's performance outfit. I think it would look much better if his pants were up and not sagging (lol) but its still a nice looking outfit.

Keke Palmer looks amazing. She is growing up and I like that she wore a more adult dress but not too grown.

Ne-yo. He looks nice. Really casual.

Idris Elba. He looks good...REALLY good (like yummy good lol). His outfit is nice but I'm adding him to the list because he is a beautiful piece of chocolate meat lol.

Tracee Ellis Ross looks FAB. Her body is still amazing and im loving those shoes. FIIIIEERRRCCCE.

There were definitely some misses last night lol...but we wont get into those.

OMG Jessie J is my favorite female singer right now

Her voice is so amazing and her album came out a couple months ago and it was phenominal.

Her singing "Who You Are" in the subway. No studio, no background vocals, just her. and i truly love this song and the lyrics.

You cant tell me she isnt an amazing singer. She also wrote Miley Cyrus' Party In the U.S.A.
