China Glaze Crackle Glaze Nail Polish Review

Now I know I'm super late on this crackle trend. When it first came out with OPI a few months ago I was searching and searching and couldn't find it, so I kinda gave up on it. When I was in Colorado last week I saw it at an Ulta I visited and I had to try it.

I decided to pick up the China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Black Mesh

The first time I applied it, it didn't come out how I expected. It was in big lines instead of random crackles. During this madness, the nail polish spilled all over me and my computer and ended up messing up the design.

So I decided to take it off and reapply it. I noticed not much product was coming on the brush so I decided to shake it up and that was the hallelujah moment. After I shook the product, it applied and crackled nicely.

Point Black Period.... I love this nail polish. I think its something different from just putting on a regular, boring coat of nail polish.

The one thing that is my personal problem with it is the color for MY skin tone. It doesn't make my hands look as feminine as I like. I think the black is too close to my skin tone, next time I see a crackle nail polish I will definitely pick it up in another color (White, Blue, Pink, Silver...something other than black lol). I've had it on for a couple days now and it has barely chipped and I didnt even put a top coat on it.

I would give this product a 5/5. If you've been thinking about getting the crackle nail polish you should at least try it. Just remember to shake it up lol.

by the way, the color I used underneath it is O.P.I's Elephantastic Pink

Have you tried crackle nail polishes? Or whats your favorite nail polish trend?

Whats In My Travel Make Up Bag

This is everything I took with my to my trip to Colorado. I only wore make up for a couple days but I like to have all of this with me just in case. This may be a lot for some of you guys or maybe too little. I don't bring any eye shadows because i usually don't wear anything on my eyes.

Photobucket

Here is my case. I found this under my sink with a bunch of other bags I have. I didnt even know I had it. Im surprised all of this fits in this bag.

Photobucket

On top is my concealer. The label wore off but I think it is from Covergirl.
The two liquid foundations are Maybelline's Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation in Dark 2 (Caramel) and Dark 3 (Cocoa).
The powder foundation is from Maybelline as well.
It is the Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder foundation in Dark 1 (Tan).

I brought two different foundations because since last summer I have been in between two different shades.

Photobucket

The gold mascara is the Voluminous Million Lashes by L'oreal.
The middle one is Great Big Lash Mascara by Maybelline in Blackest Black.
The one on the left is Maybelline's Great Last Clear Mascara ( I use it to tame my eyebrows).

I only brought two mascaras, the million lashes for a dramatic look and the great big lash for an everyday look.

Photobucket

The top is Line Stiletto Liquid Liner by Maybelline.
The second is Automatic Eye liner by Ulta in black
the third is Metallic Eyes Automatic Eye Liner by Ulta in Golden Eyes.
The fourth is a lip liner in a redish pink ( a little girl bought this from me so I dont know where she got it from lol)

Cetaphil Moisturizer Review

Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for all skin types

Photobucket

Its Claims:

"This everyday, lightweight moisturizer is ideal for all over body hydration."

  • Helps restore skin's natural protective barrier
  • keeps skin moisturized and hydrated
  • Non-greasy formula leaves skin immediately soft and smooth

It is definitely one of the best moisturizers I've used. I mainly use this product on my face, I feel it is a little too light weight to use on my body (I like to use heavier creams on my body). I believe that all of its claims are true. I bought this maybe a year ago and i still have some left in the bottle (but i don't use this everyday). I'm sure if I used it everyday I would have gone through it a lot quicker.

I wish this product had SPF in it, that would make it perfect.

This is the first product I've purchased from Cetaphil but i definitely want to try their cleanser.

Have you ever tried Cetaphil products? Whats your favorite moisturizer?

Small Haul: Ulta, Charming Charlie, and Old Navy

So I'm in colorado and I've been bored lately so i decided to go shopping. Funny thing is they have the same stores that we have back in Florida so I just went to what was comfortable.

I picked up these ray ban-esque sunglasses at Old Navy. They were on sale for about $7.50 ( I think). I've been looking for some super dark lenses glasses and I found these so i had to get them.

Photobucket

I got these earring from Charming Charlie. They are so freaking huge. I dont have a ruler but they are about the size of my ipod touch. We have one of these in Orlando but its under a different name. Im not sure if most cities have one of these but its basically a huge accessory store and everything i sorted by color. They are relatively cheap too. I think everything ranges from $3-$25 (for more intricate pieces). These earrings cost $5.97

Photobucket

I also have been needing to pick up some make up removers so while I was in Ulta I decided to try these out. They are the Olay Wet Cleansing Cloths in sensitive. I think they were only $4.99. If I end up liking them I will definitely let you guys know.

Photobucket

I've been trying to find black crackle nail polish everywhere in Orlando and everyone was sold out. I saw the China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Black Mesh and decided to try it out.

Photobucket

I also got this Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips in Check it Out (240). After I saw Kandee Johnson do a video about them I had to get them. When I get back home, I'll definitely try these out.

Photobucket

Sorry I had to rush through this. We are about to head out to the mountains in like 10 seconds lol.

What have you guys purchased recently?

Style Influence: Tracee Ellis Ross

I decided to change the name of these to influence instead of icon. Icon is a strong statement lol.

Tracee Ellis Ross is an actress and the daughter of Diana Ross. Some of us may know her from her role as Joan on the show Girlfriends. She also has a new show coming out with Malcolm Jamal Warner (Theo lol) titled Reed Between the Lines (coming out this fall). I'm sure Tracee gets some of her fashion sense from her mother. I think her style is a mixture of classic and funky. Whenever she is out, taking a stroll or on a red carpet, she always looks very put together. She manages to dress mature and youthful at the same time.

Favorite Random Things

First is this Lime Sherbet Candle by Walmart. It smells so freaking good. I got it about 4weeks ago and we finally just finished it. I lit it for a couple hours everyday and it gives the family room a nice fragrance. I thought it would be too sweet but it definitely isn't. It gives whatever room you put it in a nice sweet aroma.

Photobucket

These one pound dumbbells have also been my favorite too. I got them at Walmart also for around $2 each ( i think...but don't quote me). They're perfect for beginners. They are actually walking weights but i use them during my workout exercises....and i love that they're pink lol

Photobucket

Lose It App. I have a love hate relationship with this app. It lets you log all your workouts, meals, and lets you track your weight loss progress. It really helps you evaluate what you've eaten that day and how many calories you've burned. Here are two examples of how it tracks your food. One day I went over by 8 calories and another I was under by 788. I dont use it all the time but I do use it a few times a week. Even if you don't have an ipod touch, ipad, or iphone you can go on the Lose it website

Photobucket

Photobucket

Another favorite is this Nike Training App. It is super intense (even the easiest workouts. especially if you aren't very active) but it is a VERY good workout. I love that you can play music while you're working out and it makes the time go by much faster. If you have an apple device you should definitely check this out (at least give it one try). Even if you dont you could probably google other circuit training exercises that you can do that are similar to this.

This is my most favorite. The Harry Potter series. OMG i am soooo infatuated by these movies. I decided one day (only about 2 months ago so im a newbie on the series) i'd just rent the movies to see if i liked them or not. I freaking love them. I have been renting them from blockbuster. I NEVER thought i would like the series but i am actually attached to it and I've only been watching them for 2 weeks. The final movie was amazing and I had to hold back the tears. I think even if you arent interested in seeing the movies or reading the books, look up the synopsis on wikipedia. I always thought I would NEVER like harry potter but look at me now. lol

What are some of your favorite things right now?
